Image & Effective Communication – Importance of First Impressions
This interactive presentation is for any individual who is seeking to obtain a more polished image through their appearance and obtaining skills for effective communication, i.e.; for interviewing, giving presentations, public speaking, etc. How do we perceive ourselves versus how do others perceive us?
Optional: Book a private coaching session to assess your presentation skills.
Job and Career Mapping
Part 1 – Job and Career Mapping – Self Discovery
This is a two part workshop where we create an inventory of work experience, values and goals to obtain the ideal career and job fit. Individuals will obtain self-awareness and clarity with regards to their strengths/weakness, transferable skills, values, likes and dislikes with regards to tasks/responsibilities, environment/company culture and location/scheduling.
Part 2 – Job and Career Mapping – Putting it to Work
This second part of the workshop will show how the results of the mapping exercise can be transferred to and aid in building strength based resumes, cover letters and targeting your job search.
Resume Building & Cover letters
Learn all you need to know to build strength based targeted resumes and cover letters and how to access the hidden job market. This workshop will bring awareness that one resume does not fit for all positions an individual may apply for.
Interview Preparation, Part 1:
Learn how to interview with confidence and take the “fear” out of interviews by being well prepared and coming from a position of strength.
Acing the Interview, Part 2:
Will show you how to transfer information from your foundation resume to interviewing with confidence and where we will review the most important questions asked by HR personnel. You will learn how to prepare and personalize direct answers to questions.
Optional: Book a private coaching session to assess your interview skills.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
The target groups are for any individuals seeking to enhance their professional development including people entering the workforce (graduates), re-entering the workforce (mothers returning to work after an extended leave), or individuals seeking to change jobs or discover best career options).
